Il duo polistrumentista Erry & Kenzo si forma nel 2019, dopo un incontro “casuale” ad una jam-festa in quel del Monte Verità ad Ascona. I due trovano subito un’ottimo feeling musicale, l’improvvisazione resta la pietra miliare sulla quale Enrico Varriano aka Erry e Lorenzo Nessi aka Kenzo creano, arrangiano e suonano i
loro brani. Le affinità e ampie vedute tra i gusti e i generi musicali fan si che il Duo abbracci diverse “scuole” di stili e questo da loro una libertà espressiva difficile da etichettare. Influenze rock, funk, reggae,
psichedeliche, rap, classiche ed elettroniche portano la band a divertirsi e far divertire senza confini.
Il sound viene reso caratteristico dall’Handpan di Kenzo, curioso strumento inventato in CH nel 2001, che aggiunge un tocco di psichedelia ai riff graffianti e alle accattivanti melodie create da Erry con la loopstation, le due voci si distinguono per tono, metriche e melodie, a volte eteree, a volte dritte in faccia, il
tutto colorato con interventi di percussione e squilli di tromba.
Erry viene da un decennio di palchi italiani girati con vari gruppi Hardrock & Funk come cantante e chitarrista, prima di mettere le basi in Svizzera, Kenzo ha passato diversi anni tra le strade e piazze d’Europa come Street Artist, prima di tornare nel Locarnese, suo paese natale.
Il duo ha fatto innumerevoli date sul territorio nazionale e non, Montreux Jazz Festival, JazzAscona, LaRotonda del Festival, Teatro Paravento, locali, feste private, matrimoni, cime alpine, fiumi: dove si creano emozioni e scintille , loro ci sono.

The multi-instrumentalist duo Erry & Kenzo was formed in 2019, after a "casual" meeting at a jam-party at Monte Verità in Ascona. The two immediately find an excellent musical feeling, improvisation remains the milestone on which Enrico Varriano aka Erry and Lorenzo Nessi aka Kenzo create, arrange and play the
their songs. The affinities and broad views between tastes and musical genres mean that the Duo embraces different "schools" of styles and this gives them an expressive freedom that is difficult to label. Influences rock, funk, reggae, Psychedelic, rap, classical and electronic lead the band to have fun and entertain without boundaries.
The sound is made characteristic by Kenzo's Handpan, a curious instrument invented in CH in 2001, which adds a touch of psychedelia to the catchyriffs and captivating melodies created by Erry's loopstation, the two voices are distinguished by tone, metrics and melodies, sometimes ethereal, sometimes straight in your face,
all colored with interventions of percussion and trumpets blasts. Erry comes from a decade of Italian stages, touring with various Hardrock & Funk bands as a singer and guitarist, before setting base in Switzerland, Kenzo spent several years in the streets and squares of Europe as a Street Artist, before returning to Locarno, his hometown.
